John White - Director

John WhiteJohn White qualified as a pharmacist in 1963 and in 1965 became the owner of his first pharmacy.  In the years that followed he owned and operated another 24 pharmacies around Melbourne, whilst also being a committee member of the Pharmacy Guild.

In 1992 John founded Pharmore Pharmacies, with a vision to create a retail Pharmacy brand that represented genuine care for our customers and quality professional advice.  

John is widely respected among his peers and as a pioneer of retail pharmacy groups. He has mentored many pharmacists, colleagues and management teams on providing successful platforms for retail pharmacy business. John, in conjunction with our Pharmacist Owners, plays an active role in the day to day operation, and future development of the group.

Pauline Rawling

Pauline Rawling - Chief Executive Officer

Pauline joined Pharmore in May 2006 as Chief Financial Officer and commenced in the role of Chief Executive Officer in January 2012.

Pauline is responsible for overall management of the business and its strategic direction, including business development, market review, and corporate culture. Key day to day focuses of the position are business sustainability, future growth, brand management, key stakeholder management, and adherence to the corporate vision and mission statements.

Paul MarrisPaul Marris - Chief Financial Officer

Paul joined Pharmore in January 2012 and has overall responsibility for Finance, Information Technology, and Head Office Operations for the Group. 

The Finance Department functions include statutory compliance, financial reporting and profitability analysis, strategic business planning, cashflow management, accounts payable and receivable, and management of bank financing and insurance requirements.  The IT Department provides I.T systems and network management, technical services, software support, purchasing, asset management and risk management services.

Leah Proud – Merchandise Manager

Leah ProudLeah joined Pharmore in April 2008 and is responsible for the management of the Inventory, Marketing and Merchandising Standards for the group.

The Merchandise Department incorporates all aspects of the in-store retail and brand presentation – from initial product supply through to customer reward programs. Specific Merchandise functions include Product Procurement, Inventory Management, Pricing & Promotional Strategies, Marketing Mix, Merchandising standards, Store design, Loyalty Card Program, Professional Health Clinics, Community Health Projects and Corporate Visual standards.
