John White - Director

John WhiteJohn White qualified as a pharmacist in 1963 and in 1965 became the owner of his first pharmacy.  In the years that followed he owned and operated another 24 pharmacies around Melbourne, whilst also being a committee member of the Pharmacy Guild.

In 1992 John founded Pharmore Pharmacies, with a vision to create a retail Pharmacy brand that represented genuine care for our customers and quality professional advice.  

John is widely respected among his peers and as a pioneer of retail pharmacy groups. He has mentored many pharmacists, colleagues and management teams on providing successful platforms for retail pharmacy business. John, in conjunction with our Pharmacist Owners, plays an active role in the day to day operation, and future development of the group.

Pauline Rawling - Chief Financial Officer

Pauline RawlingPauline joined Pharmore in May 2006 and has overall responsibility for Finance, Information Technology, and Head Office Operations for the Group 

The Finance Department functions include statutory compliance, financial reporting and profitability analysis, strategic business planning, cashflow management, accounts payable and receivable, and management of bank financing and insurance requirements.  The IT Department provides I.T systems and network management, technical services, software support, purchasing, asset management and risk management services.

Leah Proud – Merchandise Manager

Leah ProudLeah joined Pharmore in April 2008 and is responsible for the management of the Inventory, Marketing and Merchandising Standards for the group.

The Merchandise Department incorporates all aspects of the in-store retail and brand presentation – from initial product supply through to customer reward programs. Specific Merchandise functions include Product Procurement, Inventory Management, Pricing & Promotional Strategies, Marketing Mix, Merchandising standards, Store design, Loyalty Card Program, Professional Health Clinics, Community Health Projects and Corporate Visual standards.

Sandra Nikakis – Human Resources Manager

Sandy NikakisSandra joined Pharmore in August 2006 assuming the overall responsibility of The People and Culture Department for the Group.

The People and Culture Department offer Strategic, Operational and Specialised HR solutions including; day to day HR advice; recruitment; induction; highly customised training and development programs; policy and procedures; payroll; award management; workforce planning; performance management; workplace relations; workplace investigations; dispute resolution; OH & S; case management; quality care (QCPP); performance appraisals and salary and compensation negotiations.
